Focusing on Surrey-based Prestige Pawnbrokers, this new Channel 4 documentary explores the hidden world of high-end pawbroking and discovers that, when it comes to upmarket pawn, everyone has a story to tell.

From a million pound helicopter to a £100,000 Lamborghini or a Hermes handbag worth £25,000, Prestige are the undisputed kings of pawning luxury and costly objects in cash-strapped Britain. In addition, Prestige are one of the growing number of high-end pawnbrokers focusing on expensive and exclusive objects.

Prestige is headed up by slick former property developer James Constantinou, who is aided by a quirky team of asset experts including jewellery expert Lawrence and feisty PA Jo.

Prestige is an empire on the move – James is taking big risks investing his hard-earned cash in a brand new store in Richmond and has bigger plans in mind too.

Posh Pawn airs tonight on Channel 4 at 9pm
