This week’s trawl through the archives focuses on pop stars as we see a young Jessica Cornish, better known as Jessie J trying to prove she’s one of Britain’s Brilliant prodigies.
Other early appearances from pop performers include Emile Sande’s appearance on Trevor Nelson’s Lowdown and Claire from steps performing in a backing group for Mr Motivator. Game shows also feature prominently here with appearances from Simon Cowell on Sale of the Century, Amanda Holden on Blind Date, Olly Murs on Deal or No Deal and Paddy McGuiness on God’s Gift.
The video booth makes a return this episode as Janet Street-Porter is presented with clips she’ll never forget from being hoisted in the air by Arnold Schwarzeneger to testing gadgets for picking up dog foul.
Meanwhile, Chris Tarrant comes face to face with his younger self on a local news item where he spoke to a man walking 13 miles with ferrets down his trousers.
