Last night on The Bachelorette, we watched as Desiree Hartsock got her happy ending when Chris Siegfried popped the question, even after hearing the truth about Brooks. Today, the happy couple are already talking about wedding plans!

Desiree Hartsock may have been blindsided by Brooks on the start of The Bachelorette finale, but that did not stop her from finding true love with Chris Siegfried. The happily engaged couple made a visit to Live with Kelly and Michael this morning, where they were already gushing about planning their wedding! So, what do Desiree and Chris have in mind? “We would like to get married in the summer – next summer,” Hartsock revealed, adding they aren’t so sure that they would like a televised wedding. Instead, she explained: “We want to keep it intimate.”

Desiree also explained how she was able to get over the devastation of Brooks leaving so quickly: “That’s the beauty of this whole experience: the feelings are really accelerated, because you do get to know these guys in a really short amount of time, and that’s actually what helped me get past the hurt.” As for all of that hurt, Chris revealed that he has not watched that footage, and likely won’t as the couple made a promise to only watch their good moments! Awe, how sweet.

Hmm, wonder who will get married first – Des and Chris or Sean and Catherine?

What did you think of The Bachelorette finale? Did Desiree Hartsock make the right decision? Or should she have walked away from both guys? It’s your turn to sound off! Comment below to share your thoughts with us.
