In this week’s instalment of the school drama, Kevin and Connor enlist Barry’s help with a dangerous plan to get rid of Steve-O; Sonya gets involved in love-rival Audrey’s wedding; and Michael clashes with Lorraine, forcing him to make a decision that will change Waterloo Road forever.

Connor continues to be the victim of Steve-O’s campaign of intimidation, as the ex-con wants Connor to burgle house for him and won’t take no for an answer. Meanwhile, Kevin is in shock after discovering what Steve-O did to Dynasty last week. Out for revenge, Kevin hatches a plan to kill Steve-O.

After Connor fails to talk his best friend out of doing something stupid, Kevin turns to Barry for help. Barry is initially dismissive but changes his mind when he discovers what Steve-O did to his sister. As the plan spirals out of control, there’s a dramatic stand-off at the docks between Steve-O, Kevin, Connor and Barry. But Steve-O is about to find out that there’s no honour among thieves.

Meanwhile, after learning that Lorraine plans to turn Waterloo Road into a fee-paying school, Michael makes a life-changing decision. As yet another confrontation erupts between the headmaster and benefactor, Michael resigns in protest of Lorraine’s plans.

Elsewhere, Sonya finds herself acting as Audrey’s wedding planner; however Ndale isn’t happy about his other woman getting involved. Ndale is later knocked for six when Audrey surprises Sonya by asking her to bridesmaid at the wedding.

Finally, Lula takes her animal rights campaigning to a whole new level – little realising she’s being manipulated by maverick science teacher Esther.

Waterloo Road continues tonight on BBC1 at 8pm
