It’s been an exciting week for the Cyrus family! First, former American Idol guest judge Miley released her new single We Can’t Stop. Now, Miley Cyrus’ brother is drawing attention for his debut modeling gig!

It can’t be easy to live in the shadow of your older sister, but 18-year-old Braison Cyrus has long taken it in stride. Now, though, Miley Cyrus’ brother wants to be known as something other than being, well, Miley Cyrus’ brother. And it looks like his chosen path is modeling!

Braison’s forays into the modeling world shouldn’t be too big of a surprise at this point, as he was already signed with Wilhemina Models as of November, 2012. But Braison’s upcoming appearance in the “Boys of Summer” issue of Troix Magazine marks his first major gig to date. In addition to offering up a come hither look for the camera, Braison answered a number of questions for the magazine. During this brief interview, the young model revealed his love of the game Skyrim, as well as his hope to break into the film industry upon his completion of film school.

Miley is proud to see her brother pursuing a career in modeling, as she boasted in a proud tweet a few months back. The Twitter update also featured a picture of the two siblings showing off their best modeling looks. The snapshot included the caption, “Woahhhhh! Who’s prettier? I’m voting Braison? Haha @TyraBanks who do you think is ANTM?!”

Watch out Miley — you just might have some competition for the title of most popular Cyrus family member!

What do you think of Braison Cyrus’ attempt to break into modeling? Feel free to voice your opinion in the comments section below!
