Hey all you Jersey Shore fans – Pauly D debuted a new hairstyle that has sparked some controversy amongst his fans.   The MTV reality star slicked back his signature spiked blow-out look.  What do you think of Pauly D’s new hairstyle – is it fist-pump worthy? Can you believe a change in hairstyle can cause so much buzz?  Fans of Jersey Shore are used to seeing Pauly D with his spiked, gel overdosed – blowout hairstyle.  It has even been rumored that Pauly flies home once a week to cut his precious locks.  So why the big change?

On Monday, May 20th, Pauly D shocked his fans when he posted a picture of himself on Twitter looking quite different.  He tweeted a picture entitled, “TheGreatDJGatsby!!!”  Pauly D ditched his Jersey look of a T-shirt and jeans and sported a nice suit and tie with his hair slicked back off to the side.

His new hairstyle was immediately noticed and was the hot topic on Twitter.  Overall fans seemed to react well to the new style Pauly was sporting.  Ryan Seacrest even took notice and complimented the MTV star with the words, “looking fresh!”
