Last week on The Biggest Loser, the contestants were given makeovers, and they all managed to make it through another week. However, this week they would not be so lucky, as it was time to narrow the final five down to the final two – and find out which two America will have the chance to vote for as the third finalist. Bet you didn’t see this one coming!

Emotions, emotions, emotions! Everyone’s emotions were in high gear tonight on The Biggest Loser – and why not? After all, the final five were now fighting for two of the three spots in the finale. Insert the resident whiner for a minute, moaning as usual about being the smallest player in the house, and how she has to work harder, yadda yadda. Is everyone else as sick of her as I am?

The whining was quickly diminished by some joy, when we got a chance to see the kid contestants, as they sat and watched their emotional journeys play back before their eyes. The kids have made amazing transformations, and truly are such inspirations to children all over the world. And it gets even better. All of the kids had their check ups done, and Lindsay is no longer pre-diabetes, and every single one of Sunny’s health problems has disappeared. Then, the doctor reveals that Biingo has lost 25% of his body weight body weight, and not only that, but his mom has gone down five dress sizes!

The Biggest Loser also gave us our share of Kleenex time tonight, as we watched the contestants check out their journeys. Not only did the contestants have tears in their eyes, but Bob Harper had tears as well as he watched Jeff’s journey play back for them. Then Danni got some awesome news – she set a new Biggest Loser record. In her short time on the ranch, Danni not only lost so much weight, but she also gained 19 pounds of muscle, wowzer!

After the tears, it was time for everyone’s favorite (and final) challenge – putting the weight back on for a one pound advantage. This time, the contestants had to drag their lost weight behind them up a snow covered mountain. All of the finalists struggled with this challenge, vowing to never ever put that weight back on. It was no shocker that the entire race was almost a tie between Danni and Joe, but for a change of pace, Joe was able to pull ahead of Danni, winning the one pound advantage.

The last chance workout brought emotions as well tonight. Danni seemed disheveled, even sparking Jillian’s notice – was the pressure getting to her? And Jeff and Bob Harper shared another Kleenex moment, as Jeff told Bob he was like a father figure, which once again brought Bob to tears. It’s no secret that Bob Harper truly cares about changing peoples’ lives.

So, how did the final five fare at their final weigh in before the finale? Check it out:

Gina from 163 to 161 (-2)

Jackson from 235 to 230 (-5)

Jeff from 276 to 265 (-11)

Joe from 244 to 239 (-5) *won one pound advantage at challenge

Danni from 174 to 163 (-11)

That meant that the two contestants who secured their spots in the finale were Jeff and Danni! That also meant that America bid farewell to the resident whiner – unless she wins the at home prize, because Jackson and Joe will be competing for America’s votes for the final spot in the finale!
