British humanitarian photographer Giles Duley was with the US army in Afghanistan when he stepped on an IED (Improvised Explosive Device) put there by the Taliban. The explosion left Giles with life changing injuries, he is now a triple amputee.

A year and half after sustaining injuries that left him on the cusp of death for months, Giles is now documenting how the invasion of Afghanistan has impacted upon civilians, focusing on people who have sustained injuries similar to his own.

WALKING WOUNDED

The film shows Giles courageous journey as he returns to Afghanistan to undertake his first photographic job since the explosion that almost took his life, in the country where he very nearly lost it.
