Lindsay Lohan Heads To L.A. Despite Reports She’s Too Sick To Travel

On Tuesday, we learned Punk’d star; Lindsay Lohan was planning to skip out on yet another court date. But this appearance is different than those of the past. The judge specifically requested that Lohan show up in person for the hearing scheduled on Wednesday, Jan. 30. But in classic Lohan style, she came up with an excuse not to go. This time it was because she was too sick to travel (but not too sick for a shopping spree). However, the troubled actress must have made a miraculous recovery, had a change of heart, or feared the consequences of a no-show because she’s on her way to L.A.

According to E! News, Lohan was spotted Tuesday night at New York’s JFK Airport. A source close to the Liz & Dick star said she was trying to catch a flight to L.A. Is she headed to court on Wednesday?

At this time, we can’t be certain if Lohan is traveling to L.A. to attend court, but it would be in her best interest if she was, especially considering the judge she’s facing. The Honorable Judge Sautner will preside over Wednesday’s hearing, which isn’t good for Lohan. Why…because this is the same judge who presided over her jewelry theft case and sentenced her to community service and probation.

At the end of that case, Judge Sautner said, “The only thing you have to do is follow all laws… Live your life in a more mature way, stop the nightclubbing, and focus on your work, OK?” Judge Sautner also said, “I don’t expect to see you again. You know what you have to do.”

So much for that…We all know Lohan hasn’t taken Judge Sautner’s advice. Instead, she just keeps getting into more trouble. It will be interesting to see what the judge has to say to her this time around.

Lohan faces three misdemeanor charges, obstructing or resisting a police officer, providing false information to a police officer, and reckless driving, stemming from a car crash last June. A probation violation case is scheduled for Feb. 27.

Do you think Lohan is going to L.A. to attend court? Or is she planning another shopping spree? And what do you think Judge Sautner will think about seeing Lohan back in her courtroom? Post a comment and let us know.
