Lohan Too Sick For Court But Not Too Sick To Shop

Lindsay, this is just getting to be ridiculous.  You are up to your antics yet again-and this time they may have dire consequences.  Too sick to go to court, but spotted out shopping?  This doesn’t bode well for the Punk’d star.  Keep reading for the details!

Lindsay Lohan is amazing at making up excuses.  If I had the sheer talent she did at bowing out of responsibilities when I was younger, I never would’ve gone to school, and I would’ve still graduated at the top of my class.  Lindsay was supposed to appear in a Santa Monica courtroom today to face charges of lying to the police stemming from her accident over the summer, however, Lindsay’s Lawyer, Mark Jay Heller, submitted a letter and supporting documents claiming Lindsay had an upper respiratory infection.  Mark even included articles from the New York Post detailing the flu’s prevalence in her area to support his claim.  If Lindsay had just laid low, she probably would’ve gotten away with it.  However, photos and reports have come to light that show Lindsay flitting around SoHo, shopping to her heart’s content-complete with a cigarette in her mouth.  So, let me get this straight – she was well enough to go shopping on Saturday, but is too sick to appear in court today?  Right.

Sources close to Lindsay say that her lawyer will give her excuses for ANYTHING.  Just like when she feigned sick before a reading of The Canyons.  Once the directors threatened to ex-nay Lindsay from the cast, she made a startling recovery.

Here’s the kicker: If Lindsay keeps this up, there very well could be a warrant issued for her arrest.  This wouldn’t be the first time the law has had to slap Lindsay with a warrant.  Just three years ago she had a warrant issued.  For what, you ask?  For not appearing in court.

How far do you think Lindsay will get this time with her excuses?  Will she be going back to jail?  Let us know in the comments!
