The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills Recap: SUR Opening And Kim Unraveling

Last week in Hawaii it was another disaster dinner (shocker) on The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills. Tonight these Bravo girls leave Hawaii, but bring the drama back to Beverly Hills with them. Plus,Lisa’s former gay BFF shows up (gasp) at her restaurant opening. Keep reading for all the details from tonight’s emotional RHOBH.

It’s the grand opening of SUR, Lisa’s new restaurant.  Lisa and Ken are scrambling around the place, pretending they actually put in some manual labor into refurbishing the place.  Lisa then leaves the works site and drives away in her fancy car to get ready for the party.

Kim and Ken get a hotel room for Lisa’s big event, so they don’t have to drive far.  As Kim gets her make-up done she pulls out a vibrator.  Oh- she thought it was lip gloss!

Her makeup artist tells her,  “It’s for your lips, just not that kind.”  Nice!  Kim then barks orders at Ken, like charge my cell phone, get me a drink.  Ken ignores Kim and hops in the shower.  In the camera interview, Kim admits she is having difficulites with her relationship with Ken. Ken is beyond frustrated with trying to get Kim out the door for the party.  Finally in the limo, Kim is acting like she maybe mixed too many meds.

The SUR launch party has started and all the guests begin to arrive.  There are a ton of air kisses and congratulations on the restaurant. Then Brandi shares, like it’s just every day conversation, that one of the waitresses had an affair with her ex-husband.  Not one to shy away from confrontation, Brandi says to the girl, “You are the girl who had sex with my husband.”   Lisa actually asks the waitress to go home, so Brandi doesn’t feel uncomfortable.  The waitress looks relieved, because I think Brandi could kick her ass in a fight.

The party at SUR is hopping, even RuPaul has shown up for the event!  But then there is one guest who everyone is surprised to see, it’s Cedric.  Lisa immediately comes up to him and calmly asks him, “what are you doing?”  Lisa tells him he is not invited and must leave.  Cedric tries to tell Ken that he just came for Lisa, but Ken doesn’t want anything to do with him.  Scared of being banned from the popular group, Brandi immediately tells Lisa that she didn’t invite him.

The doorbell rings and Taylor answers the door. I thought it was her driver to the party, but it’s actually her date! The weird part is – it’s her psychologist!  How weird is that?  Is she paying him by the hour for this date?  The doc seems like a nice guy, but it seems there should be a fine line between psychologist and friend.  Taylor defends her date by saying, “I invited Dr. Sophy because he knows what is going on in my marriage and he understands the cycle of violence.”  The couple gets into the  limo and they have a mini therapy session.  Taylor begins to cry because she feels bad for dragging her friends into this mess.  Taylor puts on a brave face and heads into the party to hug her friends.  Lisa immediately notices that something is wrong with Taylor’s eye.  Pull in the therapist – it’s time for group therapy time.  All the girls sit down to listen to Taylor.

Taylor begins by apologizing to her friends for her behavior these last six months.  She shares that Russell recently hurt her and she is finally ready to leave.  The girls rally around their friend and want to help her move on.

Kim and Ken finally arrive to the party!  Kim grabs someone and says, “I really don’t want to see Kim, so keep her away from me.”   When Adrienne informs Kyle that something is definitely wrong with Kim, Kyle goes to find her sister.  The sisters head outside and Kim finally confides in Kyle that Ken puts her down.  I’m sure Kyle had to bite her tongue to not say, “I told you so.”  Instead, Kyle tells Kim she knows that she isn’t happy and is depressed. Kim breaks down and says she is already packed and ready to move out.  Plus, the truth finally comes out that Kim and Ken missed the flight to Hawaii because they were up all night fighting.  Kyle is trying to have a serious conversation, but Kim is grabbing the roses off the table.  Then Kim drops the bomb, that her period is three months late!  “Why don’t you take a f*%*ing test?” Kyle barks at her sister.  It’s probably menopause Kim – hello?  Then the conversation comes to a complete halt when Ken shows up at the table – awkward!

Kim then locks herself in the bathroom for so long that people are knocking on the door telling her they have to use it!  What is she doing in there?

There was enough drama in that episode to fill an entire season.  What did you think of tonight’s episode?  We know you have comments on all the drama, so let’s hear them!

How to make: A fashionable cake

The Stella McCartney ‘fruit print’ has become one of the most iconic patterns for the season, with high street brands such as Zara following suit. However, the look can be fairly difficult to pull off unless you’re a stick thin model, so we’ve found a way to get your fashion fix and your hunger fix for a fraction of the cost of a real Stella. Butter two 8?, 9? or 10? round cake pans, line the bottoms with greaseproof paper, butter again, and dust with flour, tapping out the excess.
