Glee is about to take on songs by Michael Jackson in an upcoming episode, but Gleeks have another treat coming their way soon after that.

Show creator Ryan Murphy has revealed that he is planning another tribute episode – which will air in and around April time – and it will honour the music from The Bee Gees’ “Saturday Night Fever” soundtrack.

The show boss is keen to dip his toe into the world of disco and told

“We’ve never done disco on the show, but I’m interested in the genius of The Bee Gees,” Murphy told TV Guide.

The original movie starred Pulp Fiction star John Travolta and when asked if the Grease star would make a cameo appearance in the episode, Ryan confessed:

“I would certainly ask him.”

And landing Travolta as a guest star isn’t as unlikely as it sounds, as Murphy revealed that one of his cast members has gotten quite pally with the actor adding:

“Travolta and Cory Monteith became close friends at a party when Cory told him he’d seen ‘Broken Arrow’ 20 times. Travolta sent him an autographed copy of the DVD,”

“Maybe we’ll have them dance in a Finn dream sequence.”

“Glee” will stay with the Travolta theme in it’s next episode. Titled Yes/No the installment will feature a rendition of Grease’s hit song ‘Summer Nights’ with Sam taking on Travolta’s role…it was even filmed in the same bleachers as the original movie!
