God Bless Ozzy Osbourne airs on BBC2 on Sunday, January 29th at 10pm, and for fans of Ozzy, it’s a must see.

Made by his son Jack, the film chronicles Ozzy’s colourful life, from his rise to fame in rock band Black Sabbath brought him mixed fortunes…

He of course became insanely wealthy, but he also developed drug and alcohol addictions, which would dog him in the later years of his life.

And of course, the film tells the story of Ozzy’s marriage to Sharon, and of the turbulent – but solid – relationship that saw the couple raise three children; Aimee, Kelly and Jack.

The BBC’s press release about the film reads…

This is the first time British terrestrial TV viewers will be able to see this insightful and sometimes brutally honest documentary, which had a theatrical and DVD release in 2011.

The film takes an unrivalled look at the notorious Black Sabbath front man’s life and his sometimes extreme behaviour. It features interviews with Ozzy’s brothers and sisters, as well as wife Sharon and children Jack, Aimee and Kelly Osbourne…

Featuring never-before seen footage uncovered from the archives and interviews with Sir Paul McCartney, Tommy Lee, Henry Rollins and others, God Bless Ozzy Osbourne is the first documentary to take viewers inside the mind and psyche of a legendary and timeless cultural star.

The film will of course also revisit the MTV reality show, The Osbournes, which took viewers behind the scenes, warts and all, right into the heart of the family. And although Aimee largely declined to appear on the show, it was primarily via this fly-on-the-wall show that Kelly and Jack found independent fame.

Let’s take a look at some scenes from The Osbournes…

How to make: A fashionable cake

The Stella McCartney ‘fruit print’ has become one of the most iconic patterns for the season, with high street brands such as Zara following suit. However, the look can be fairly difficult to pull off unless you’re a stick thin model, so we’ve found a way to get your fashion fix and your hunger fix for a fraction of the cost of a real Stella.
