Coronation Street Spoilers: Tyrone Dobbs is going to be a daddy!

November 29th, 2011 by Sarah. No comments

It’s been reported in today’s Daily Star that Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) is soon going to find out that his girlfriend Kirsty Soames (Natalie Gumede) is pregnant with his baby!

The paper reports that Tyrone finds out the happy news soon after Kirsty and Tina McIntyre (Michelle Keegan) are involved in a car crash

And until this news broke just now, there had been speculation that Kirsty might die in the crash, but phew, she’s fine, and so is the baby!

It’s lovely news for Tyrone, who was of course devastated when his cheating wife Molly – who died in the aftermath of the tram crash last year and was played by Vicky Binns – revealed that Ty wasn’t the father of her baby Jack, and he was in fact Kevin Webster’s (Michael Le Vell) child…

The paper states that a delighted Kirsty tells Tyrone, “I’m pregnant with your baby, Tyrone. You’re going to be a dad.”

And when she and Tyrone see their little bundle of joy on an ultrasound scan, a weepy Tyrone says, “A proper family of my own is all I’ve ever wanted.”

Aww bless him!

I would guess then that the New Year is going to see Tommy Duckworth (Chris Fountain) and Tina moving out of Tyrone’s house, as the expectant parents are probably going to want to set up home together ahead of the baby’s birth…

And I’m kinda hoping that Tommy and Tina might then be somewhat thrown together, and end up being an item.

He’s so much more her kind of bloke than Doctor Matt (Oliver Mellor). Would you like to see Tommy and Tina in a romance?

While you’re deciding on that, here’s a clip of the moment poor Tyrone learned that Kevin is baby Jack’s dad…

How to make: A fashionable cake

The Stella McCartney ‘fruit print’ has become one of the most iconic patterns for the season, with high street brands such as Zara following suit. However, the look can be fairly difficult to pull off unless you’re a stick thin model, so we’ve found a way to get your fashion fix and your hunger fix for a fraction of the cost of a real Stella. Courtesy of Apollinas. Ingredients: Directions Heat oven to 350°F. Butter two 8?, 9? or 10? round cake pans, line the bottoms with greaseproof paper, butter again, and dust with flour, tapping out the excess. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt; set aside.Using an electric mix, beat the butter and sugar on medium-high until fluffy – this will take around 2 to 3 minutes.  Mix in the grated zest of the oranges and lemons.  Beat in the vanilla, then the eggs one at a time.Reduce mixer speed to low.
