Angelea Preston Plans To Talk About Her America’s Next Top Model All-Stars Scandal

Since the first ever America’s Next Top Model All-Stars winner, Lisa D’Amato was crowned, the web has been abuzz about the shocking disqualification of finalist, Angelea Preston. During the season finale airing on the CW Wednesday night, the show’s creator Tyra Banks informed the judging panel made up of Nigel Barker, Andre Leon Talley and Jay Manuel that the show’s producers found out information that ultimately lead to Preston’s disqualification from the competition! The stakes were high during this year’s all-stars season as the models were vying for a lot of prizes. The winner received a spread in Italian Vogue, a cover spread in Beauty in Vogue, a blog on Italian Vogue’s website, a celebrity guest correspondent job for Extra, a national campaign with Express and $100,000 contract with Cover Girl.

Throughout the season Preston had been a fan favorite, sharing her childhood struggles of growing up in Buffalo, NY on food stamps. The 25 year old said she refused to be a product of her environment and had set out to make a better life for herself and hoped winning the reality TV competition would be the answer. The cycle 17 finalist was first introduced to America on America’s Next Top Model Cycle 14. Knowing how important the competition was to her future, Preston was extremely emotional during the all-stars season.

Preston has yet to break her silence on the matter but tweeted on December 7 the following “OMG!!!! IM TRENDING WORLDWIDE on twitter right now!!!!!!!!!! Wowwwww!! That’s the whole world!! Lol! #humbled!! Thanks y’all!!! #LOVE”

There are many online stories speculating that Preston leaked information about the finalists which is the reason for her disqualification.

On Friday, Wetpaint reported that Preston is planning on holding a press conference in New York City on Saturday to talk about what happened on America’s Next Top Model All-Stars.
