Kim Kardashian shocked the reality world when she announced she was filing for divorce.  All the media attention and the jokes about her short-lived marriage to Kris Humphries have taken a toll on the Keeping Up With The Kardashian star.  Plus, Kim thinks she has let her fans down and is worried her public reputation is permanently damaged.

After only 72 days, Kim Kardashian filed for divorce from Kris Humphries.  Kim made her wedding a reality TV extravaganza on E!, costing upwards of $10 million dollars.  Later in a note to her fans, Kim admitted that she was embarrassed about throwing such a lavish wedding.  Kim is upset about her marriage ending, but it seems Kim is more concerned about the public’s opinion of her.

Kim Kardashian is back to work in Atlanta studying for her new role in Tyler Perry’s movie, The Marriage Counselor.  However, sources on the set tell US weekly that Kim is obviously upset and not herself.  The source shared, “She’s being very quiet and isn’t smiling very much.”  It seems all the media attention and jokes about her marriage, especially the SNL skit, have hit Kim hard.  Kim is very concerned that she has permanently damaged her reputation by this whole wedding disaster.  Friends close with Kim told Us Weekly, “She thinks the world turned against her. She feels everyone hates her.” It also seems the reality star can’t stop crying, she has been “honestly a mess.”

So has your opinion of Kim Kardashian changed since she filed for divorce?  Do you think the E! reality star can bounce back from this PR nightmare.  Let us know, leave a comment below!
