According to The Sun’s TV Biz, Doctor Who actor Matt Smith is keen to say farewell to the role as the Time Lord to try out a career in movies.

The paper states that Matt told a US TV channel that once his current contract with Doctor Who is up, he will be heading to Hollywood.

He said, “I’m certainly going to come and give it a shot. I’d like to hang out in LA.”
