James Durbin Signs A Rocking Record Deal

Who can forget American Idol‘s season ten contestant James Durbin? James won us over with his talent and won our hearts with his story, but then we were shocked with his early elimination. Fans can finally rejoice as James Durbin has signed a record deal with a well know rocker’s label. Read on for all the details!

It was announced this week that American Idol contestant, James Durbin has signed a record deal with Wind-Up Records. Wind-Up Records is home to other rockers such as Seether, Creed as well as Evanescence, and the company’s CEO, Gregg Wattenberg, co-wrote Chris Daughtry’s hit “It’s Not Over.”

Gregg Wattenberg was thrilled to sign James Durbin as he said in the press conference: “When the possibility of signing James Durbin to Wind-up Records came up, we knew it was a no-brainer. James is a rock star. We’re all excited to have him as part of the family and can’t wait to let his fans hear his debut album.” According to Wind-Up Records, James Durbin is supposed to start recording next week and will complete his album once the Idol tour is over.
