Sheridan Smith has always seemed like the kind of girl who’d be game for a laugh and she proved it this week, when she stripped off in front of a large crowd.

The Two Pints Of Lager And A Packet Of Crisps actress was at a fundraising event with Channel 4 ‘How To Look Good Naked’ host Gok Wan, when he convinced her to strip down into just her pants and stockings, in front of the venue’s audience.

Onlookers say the star was ‘mortified’ at having to take off her elegant black dress at Sunday night’s West End Bares fund-raiser, but did it in good spirits after being coaxed by Gok.

After more than £35,000 was raised for the HIV/Aids charity the Make A Difference Trust at the high profile event, Sheridan took to Twitter to admit her embarrassment, saying:

“I will never forgive @therealgokwan for making me flash my fat a*** and belly in public.”

Smith recently won rave reviews as she starred in the West End production of ‘Legally Blonde,’ she will now move on to the lead role in the stage show adaptation Bridget Jones.

How to make: A fashionable cake

The Stella McCartney ‘fruit print’ has become one of the most iconic patterns for the season, with high street brands such as Zara following suit. However, the look can be fairly difficult to pull off unless you’re a stick thin model, so we’ve found a way to get your fashion fix and your hunger fix for a fraction of the cost of a real Stella. Courtesy of Apollinas. Ingredients: Directions Heat oven to 350°F. Butter two 8?, 9? or 10? round cake pans, line the bottoms with greaseproof paper, butter again, and dust with flour, tapping out the excess.
