Grammy award-winning country artist – and wife of coach Blake Shelton – Miranda Lambert is set to perform in the LIVE season finale of NBC’s The Voice, taking to the stage with, who else, but Team Blake finalist, Dia Frampton.

“Miranda is an amazing artist and it will be fascinating to see her blend her talents with those of Dia,” NBC’s Paul Telegdy said in his announcement of the upcoming duet. “This special duet is what The Voice represents to our audience. Together, Miranda and Blake, who represent a true power couple in country music, will help provide a memorable finale for our first season.”

And it sounds like the blushing new bride is just as excited as we are about the collaboration with the budding artist who’s made a big impact on hubby, Blake Shelton.

“I am thrilled to perform on my favorite new show,” says Lambert. “It’s been a joy watching my husband grow so attached to his team. Truthfully, I am a little jealous that I am not a coach myself. I can’t wait to be a part of it.”

Don’t worry Miranda, maybe Blake will bring you on as a mentor next season!

All four finalists – Javier Colon of Team Adam, Beverly McClellan of Team Christina, Vicci Martinez of Team Cee Lo, and Dia Frampton of Team Blake – will perform on Tuesday, June 28th, with the season 1 winner of The Voice being announced during the LIVE season finale, Wednesday, June 29 at 8|7c on NBC.

How to make: A fashionable cake

The Stella McCartney ‘fruit print’ has become one of the most iconic patterns for the season, with high street brands such as Zara following suit. However, the look can be fairly difficult to pull off unless you’re a stick thin model, so we’ve found a way to get your fashion fix and your hunger fix for a fraction of the cost of a real Stella. Butter two 8?, 9? or 10? round cake pans, line the bottoms with greaseproof paper, butter again, and dust with flour, tapping out the excess. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt; set aside.Using an electric mix, beat the butter and sugar on medium-high until fluffy – this will take around 2 to 3 minutes.  Mix in the grated zest of the oranges and lemons.  Beat in the vanilla, then the eggs one at a time.Reduce mixer speed to low.
