In tonight’s episode of The Glee Project on Oxygen, the remaining seven participants are pushed through painful challenges to prove their tenacious spirits and are finally slushied! Keep reading to find out who made the cut!

Glee star Max Alder is the guest mentor for the contenders which include: Alex Newell, Cameron Mitchell, Damian McGinty Jr., Hannah McIalwain, Lindsay Pearce, Marissa von Bleicken, McKynleigh Abraham and Samuel Larsen. For their homework challenge, the participants sing “Bulletproof.” Max stops them in the middle of it and tells them they need to be more tenacious. The contenders do it again and really bring it. Max selects Marissa as the winner therefore she gets to work one-on-one with him on her upcoming challenge of getting slushied.

The music video for this week is a mash-up of David Bowie and Queen’s “Under Pressure” along with Vanilla Ice’s “Ice Ice Baby.” The contenders now begin to practice for the music video shoot. Assistant choreographer Brooke Lipton works with the participants in the studio with the elaborate moves for this week which includes a lot of floor work. Next, the contestants go into the recording studio with Nikki Anders to go over the vocals. Marissa admits that she didn’t practice a part while Hannah struggles with her rap section.

Casting Director Robert Ulrich also informs the contenders that they will be getting slushied throughout the video and can’t stop while taping. It’s difficult and all of the contenders get through it except Cameron who stops a couple of times while taping the music video. Robert also comments that Marissa is less electrifying in this video.

After much consideration, the judges select the bottom three: Alex, Marissa and Cameron. Marissa is really surprised that she is in the bottom three because she has won the homework assignment for the last three weeks.

Robert informs the bottom three contenders that they all will be singing their original audition songs: Alex will have to sing, “And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going;” Marissa will sing, “Hate On Me;” and Cameron will sing his original song, “Love Can Wait.”

Ryan Murphy, along with the other judges deliberate on who they think should stay in the competition and who should go home. The call back list is posted and one-by-one the bottom three all walk out to find out their fate. Under “Not Called Back” is Marissa’s name therfore her time in the competition has come to an end.
