Dancing With The Stars Upgrading Stars For Season 13

Dancing with the Stars is looking to upgrade its stars for season 13, but does that mean the likes of Tom Cruise will be busting a move? Probably not! Read on to find out why the selective casting might be throwing a wrench in our plans to watch some d-listers shake their butts.

Let’s face it, the casting on Dancing with the Stars hasn’t been of the highest quality in recent seasons and we mean no harm by that. But when we think of stars, we think of people like Justin Timberlake and Jessica Alba. Will they ever dance for the mirror ball trophy? Maybe not, but according to some scuttlebutt from TMZ, the producers are looking for more “high profile” names. Well, that certainly blows the gossip that Snooki is heading to the ABC reality show out of the water.

So, how do producers plan to lock these big name celebrities? Word has it they’ll have control of their rehearsal schedule and how much time they put into making their routines ballroom ready. TMZ is also saying they’ll get their say in music and costumes.

There’s no word on whether any A-list celebrities have been locked in, but we’d love to see who you’d select for season 13 of Dancing with the Stars. We won’t have to wait much longer to see who makes the cut as it should be announced soon.

Would you miss the likes of people like The Situation of Jersey Shore doing the tango? We’re on the fence about this, so tell us your thoughts.
