Chris Colfer has reportedly asked some members of the British Royal family to join the cast of Glee.
The 21 year old actor is said to have asked Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie – daughters of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson – if they would like cameo roles in the upcoming season of the hit musical show, in which he plays gay performer Kurt Hummel.
Colfer is thought to have met the sisters – along with Prince Harry – at London’s Hard Rock Calling festival and he later told The Sun:
“The princesses love Glee.
“We’ve got the royal seal of approval. Maybe we can get them a cameo on the show. Wouldn’t that be amazing?”
Every queen needs their princesses!
Onlookers said the girls got the full VIP treatment when they arrived at the festival and were ferried about in a buggy, to save their weary feet.
An onlooker said they were delighted to meet Chris and told the newspaper:
“They look a bit bedraggled from all the rain but they soon perked up after they saw Kurt was there.
“Eugenie especially is a huge fan of Glee and everyone got on like a house on fire. It was a real party atmosphere.
“Eugenie was pressing Chris for more information on the third series of Glee, which has been filmed but not aired over here yet.”
