A spokesperson for Amy Winehouse’s parents has just confirmed that the star’s funeral will be held tomorrow.
After a coroner adjourned an inquest into Amy’s death yesterday and gave her family permission to make burial arrangements, they have decided to conduct a private service for friends and close family members tomorrow.
The representative said that no details concerning the time or location of the service would be provided and asked for the family to be given some privacy to grieve at this time.
It was always expected that the funeral would be held as soon as possible, as Jewish families normally prefer to bury their loved ones within 24 hours of death.
Amy’s was delayed as a post-mortem had to take place in order to discover the cause of her death.
It is expected that Winehouse’s close friend Kelly Osbourne will be at the ceremony tomorrow, as the star was pictured weeping as she arrived at London’s Heathrow airport this afternoon.
The pair were close friends for many years, with Amy even talking about moving into the Osbourne’s guest property at one time.
