It seems that the friends and family of Amy Winehouse may have to wait another month or so to find out how the star died.
The ‘Rehab’ hitmaker was found dead in her North London home on Saturday afternoon and because of the ‘unexplained’ nature of her passing, a post mortem was ordered.
Associated Press have tonight reported that the results of the initial autposy is in and the results were inconclusive. They added that additional toxicology tests will be needed and these may take two to four weeks to complete.
It was also announced this evening that Amy will be buried tomorrow, though the spokesperson for her family would not give details of the time or date.
The burial was made possible by a coroner yesterday, who adjourned the inquest into Amy’s death until October, because there was nothing to make police suspect suspicious circumstances or foul play.
It was reported this morning that father of the deceased, Mitch Winehouse was keen to bury his daughter within the next 24 hours, as it is Jewish tradition to conduct a funeral as soon as possible after death. He and members of the stars family and friends have begun the ‘sitting shiva’ for her since Saturday night.
Kelly Osbourne was a close friend of Amy’s while she was alive and was seen arriving at London’s Heathrow airport today, looking visibly upset. It is thought that the TV presenter will be at the ceremony where her former pal is laid to rest tomorrow.
