Cheryl Cole was recently let go from her judging spot on FOX‘s X Factor allowing Nicole Sherzinger the chance to judge while it was speculated that Cheryl would return to the UK X Factor. We have now learned though that Cheryl Cole will not be returning to the UK show – but don’t worry, the hit series already has a replacement in store. Keep reading for all the details!
Cheryl Cole was fired last week from her judging gig on the US X Factor, but now it has been reported that Cheryl will not be returning to her role on the UK show either despite the speculation that she may be returning to the panel there. According to the Daily Mail, Cheryl was offered her spot back, but has not responded. Their source says “Cheryl will not be returning to the British ‘X Factor. She hasn’t returned phone calls. And you can’t exactly negotiate with someone who won’t even speak to you.”
Fans of the hit series have no reason to worry though as the UK X Factor already has a replacement for Cheryl Cole – Kelly Rowland! That’s right, the former Destiny’s Child member has been rumored to be taking Cheryl’s place on the show along with hip hop star Tulisa Contostavlos from the group N-Dubz. Do you think that Cheryl Cole should have been given a longer time frame to respond, or was the show right in asking Kelly Rowland? Comment and share your thoughts with us!
