Natalie Cassidy has told this week’s Closer magazine about maintaining her new slim figure – and how it’s caused sparks in the bedroom.

Posing in only a sheer sequined bodysuit to recreate Britney Spears’ raunchy Toxic video, Natalie Cassidy oozes body confidence.

The actress – who has shed nearly 2st in just three months and gone from a size 14 to a 10 – even refuses to wear the slimming Spanx pants offered to her and jokingly asks if she can take the Britney bodysuit home with her!

But despite looking fab when she was snapped on holiday in her bikini body three weeks ago, Natalie, 28, admits she is hung up about her post-baby belly.

“I’d love to have a flat tum like lots of new celeb mums but I’m happy maintaining the weight I’m at now,” she says. “I don’t think I’ll hit size 8 again, unless it’s just for my wedding day!”

The 5ft 4 star adds: “I’m now at my goal weight of 9st 12lbs, but I’d still like to be half a stone lighter. I weigh myself once a week, but I could easily stand on the scales twice a day. I have to stop myself getting obsessed!”

Her fears are understandable, as over the past three years the former EastEnders star has yo-yoed dramatically from a size 16 to a tiny size 6 and back again. And Natalie, who gave birth to her daughter Eliza with fiancé Adam Cottrell eight months ago, admits that it is proving a struggle to maintain her new size.

“Naturally I’m about a size 14,” she says. “It’s a real effort to be a 10, but I’d be really disappointed if I put the weight back – I don’t want to be a yo-yo dieter any more. I’d love to be between a 10 and 12 for the rest of my life.”

“My attitude to my body is totally different these days. It’s far more important for me to be fit than thin.”

And it sounds like Natalie’s new body has certainly set off fireworks in the bedroom. “I feel far sexier than when I was really thin,” she smiles. “We’re having more sex than ever since we got back from our holiday to Cyprus [earlier this month]. But we’re not at it like rabbits. I’ve no time for dressing up in sexy maid outfits!”

The full feature appears in this week’s Closer magazine, on sale now (Tuesday).

How to make: A fashionable cake

The Stella McCartney ‘fruit print’ has become one of the most iconic patterns for the season, with high street brands such as Zara following suit. However, the look can be fairly difficult to pull off unless you’re a stick thin model, so we’ve found a way to get your fashion fix and your hunger fix for a fraction of the cost of a real Stella. Courtesy of Apollinas. Ingredients: Directions Heat oven to 350°F. Butter two 8?, 9? or 10? round cake pans, line the bottoms with greaseproof paper, butter again, and dust with flour, tapping out the excess. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt; set aside.Using an electric mix, beat the butter and sugar on medium-high until fluffy – this will take around 2 to 3 minutes.  Mix in the grated zest of the oranges and lemons.  Beat in the vanilla, then the eggs one at a time.Reduce mixer speed to low.
