Just how far will celebrities go to feel happy in their skin? That’s the question Paddy Power is asking after Wayne Rooney confirmed he had a hair transplant at the weekend.

The cheeky bookie has opened betting on what Wayne will alter next after splashing out a whopping £30,000 on hair plugs. The Man United striker is 5/1 to have his ears pinned back next and 8/1 to invest in a bit of botox.

The good news for Coleen is it’s an unlikely 500/1 that Roo’ will opt to have a penis enlargement.

Rooney’s locks will take a few months to grow but Paddy Power are already speculating on what hairstyle he’ll don when it’s in full bloom. A side parting is the 5/1 favourite followed by a Mohawk at 6/1 and a quiff at 8/1. Some of the outsiders on the list include a flattop at 12/1, an afro at 33/1 and dreadlocks at 50/1!

Paddy Power has also compiled a list of hair receding celebrities that could follow Rooney’s latest fashion trend. Westlife’s Kian Egan is 5/1 to follow Roo’ alongside Will Young at 6/1 and Ronan Keating at 8/1. Hollywood hell-raiser Charlie Sheen also appears on the list at 25/1!

How to make: A fashionable cake

The Stella McCartney ‘fruit print’ has become one of the most iconic patterns for the season, with high street brands such as Zara following suit. However, the look can be fairly difficult to pull off unless you’re a stick thin model, so we’ve found a way to get your fashion fix and your hunger fix for a fraction of the cost of a real Stella. Butter two 8?, 9? or 10? round cake pans, line the bottoms with greaseproof paper, butter again, and dust with flour, tapping out the excess. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt; set aside.Using an electric mix, beat the butter and sugar on medium-high until fluffy – this will take around 2 to 3 minutes.  Mix in the grated zest of the oranges and lemons.  Beat in the vanilla, then the eggs one at a time.Reduce mixer speed to low.
