American Idol on FOX is back tonight as we head to Las Vegas where the contestants will be narrowed down again and tomorrow the top 24 will be revealed. On Thursday’s episode we will see one particular elimination that is so emotional it brings Jennifer Lopez to tears. Keep reading for more information – but beware this contains a spoiler, so do not read if you don’t want to be spoiled!

Last week, American Idol executive producer warned us that something something emotional would affect Jennifer Lopez on the show, and I guess it is safe to assume this is it. According to numerous sources on the web, on Thursday’s episode we will watch as Jennifer Lopez has to break the news of elimination to hopeful Chris Medina, in which she will suffer an emotional breakdown. Jennifer was touched by Chris’ story of devotion to his paralyzed fiancee that she cannot help but be reduced to tears during his elimination.

In Thursday’s “Green Mile” episode – titled as such because the contestants are made to walk through a long room to get to hear their fate from the judges is when we will get to find out who the top 24 are. Chris Medina, who makes the top 40 apparently does not make the cut. Chris, whose love story blew the judges away just as much as his signing did during auditions will not be leaving empty handed however. It has been reported that the hopeful has received over $24k in donations towards his fiancee’s medical bills thus far since airing his story. What do you think of Chris Medina? Do you think he should have made the top 24? Comment and share your thoughts with us!

How to make: A fashionable cake

The Stella McCartney ‘fruit print’ has become one of the most iconic patterns for the season, with high street brands such as Zara following suit. However, the look can be fairly difficult to pull off unless you’re a stick thin model, so we’ve found a way to get your fashion fix and your hunger fix for a fraction of the cost of a real Stella.
