Back in the fall of 2010 we listened as FOX’s Kitchen Nightmares chef Gordon Ramsay was blasted by Top Chef judge and food guru Eric Ripert after a suicide of one Gordon’s contestants. Eric is at it again, but this time he is calling Gordon and the show racist. What sparked this and what exactly did Eric say? Keep reading for more details!

Kitchen Nightmares Chef Gordon Ramsay is once again being bashed by Top Chef’s Eric Ripert. Last fall he accused Gordon Ramsay of being abusive in his leadership techniques and said “Smart chefs lead kitchen by sharing, teaching, inspiring with respect. Not insulting, abusing, humiliating their team.” Now Eric Ripert is at it again calling Gordon Ramsay and the production of the show “racist”.

After Friday evening’s episode of Kitchen Nightmares, Gordon Ramsay lost his composure with the Latino line cooks who attempted to send out a sorry excuse for shepherd’s pie. But while most of us just viewed Gordon’s tirade as being normal especially while having to deal with that kind of nonsense, Eric Ripert does not agree. Eric took to his Twitter account once again to blast Gordon Ramsay by saying “Watched Kitchen Nightmares = racist content, verbal abuse, humiliation etc. Shame on Gordon and production of show! Not an inspiration of leadership.” and then he followed up a bit later with “Episode of Kitchen Nightmares I m ref to is about grasshopper restaurant. Racism when addressing to Latino staff.” Did you watch this episode? What do you think of Eric Ripert’s remarks?
