Chris Colfer has hinted that there may be difficult times ahead for his Glee character Kurt.

The openly gay student fell for handsome schoolmate Blaine when he left McKinley High and enrolled in Dalton Academy and though they have not yet gotten together, there may be a romantic storyline up ahead.

“There’s a love triangle coming up,” Colfer told TV Guide.

“But that doesn’t really work out for Kurt.”

Last month, Colfer admitted that Kurt and Blaine will probably start a relationship eventually but added:

“They can’t just suddenly come together – where would the fun in that be?”
