He thought he was buying a genuine 2-carat diamond ring at an amazing discount. Instead, he paid almost $2000.00 for a worthless piece of polished plastic on gold plated ring setting. The young man had never wore or bought any jewelry prior to that purchase and he had never heard the saying we live by in the jewelry business, “Trust but verify!” His loss has turned into your learning lesson.
