As the Hollywood rounds continue this week on American Idol on FOX, it seems as though the judges have settled in nicely. In fact, Jennifer Lopez who stated in the past that she was nervous and had a hard time saying no, is now thrilled to be able to share her insight and experience with the contestants. Keep reading to hear what Jennifer had to say!

On the red carpet at the Grammy Awards this week, American Idol judge Jennifer Lopez is no longer nervous and seems completely confident in her new role. Jennifer, who has many years experience singing and acting tells that all of her years in the music industry really help her to give the contestants insight as she understands exactly where they are coming from. In a red carpet interview Jennifer had this to say about her position on the show “I love it. Honestly, with all the experience I’ve had over the years, it’s like, what do you do with it? Steven, he’s been on the scene for 40 years touring. You have so much information, you have so much experience and so many little tidbits you don’t even realize you have in your mind.”

Jennifer seems to have quickly gotten over her nervousness and admits that she loves her new gig and calls it “lots of fun.” As far as judging the contestants, she uses her experience to help them as she adds “You see someone perform, and you’re in the position to go, ‘Hey, you know what? Why don’t you think about this? You know what I see? I see this.’”
What are your thoughts on Jennifer Lopez as a judge – are you enjoying her take or not? Either way, one thing that cannot be denied is her experience!

How to make: A fashionable cake

The Stella McCartney ‘fruit print’ has become one of the most iconic patterns for the season, with high street brands such as Zara following suit.
