YouTube’s “Bed Intruder” viral video star Antoine Dodson is shooting a pilot for his own reality show. The Alabama projects resident rose to fame when video of his warning to “hide your kids, hide your wife” after his sister was nearly raped was posted on YouTube. YouTube star Antoine Dodson is extending his 15 minutes of fame by filming a pilot for his own reality show, according to Yahoo! News.

Yahoo! reports the show will be about Dodson’s family moving from Alabama to Hollywood.

Scott MacFadyen, a representative from Entertainment One tells TheWrap.com Dodson is “leveraging every aspect he can to make a better life for his family.”

MacFayden says the production company also has a record label which Dodson might be working with.

“You might see some development in terms of his music career taking off,” he tells the website. “We make TV shows, but we also have a music label. So I’ll just put that out there.”

The video that made Dodson famous is an auto-tuned music version of his inteview with Alabama local news reporters. The clip has more than 67 million views and was the most-watched independent video of 2010.

Dodson offered this famous commentary on his sister’s near rape by an intruder:

“Well, obviously, we have a rapist in Lincoln Park. He’s climbing in your windows, he’s snatching your people up, trying to rape them, so you need to hide your kids, hide your wife and hide your husband, because they’re raping everybody out here.”

Dodson warned the intruder they will find him, calling him “so dumb” for leaving behind fingerprints and his shirt.

Dodson seems to be enjoying the spotlight, telling Mashable his fame will never get old.
