Things may be heating up in the kitchen during this season of Top Chef: All-Stars, but it’s nothing compared to what’s going on with host Padma Lakshmi. The Bravo reality star is being sued by her baby daddy! Adam Dell (yes, of those Dells) is not happy with his current custody agreement with Lakshmi, and not only is he trying to get more face time with his daughter, 11-month-old Krishna Thea, he’s also seeking sole custody. Padma Lakshmi of Bravo’s Top Chef: All-Stars has been fighting allegations that she hasn’t allowed ex, Adam Dell, to see their daughter, 11-month-old Krishna Thea, and now, it looks as though she’ll be taking that fight to court.

Dell has decided to sue the 40-year-old star in order to see more of his daughter, and he’s hoping to get full custody!

“Adam wanted to avoid going to court, but it was so frustrating trying to find a co-parenting agreement [that] he had to take this action,” claims a source. “He’s seeking sole custody of his daughter — but he’s hoping for a shared custody agreement.

“He’s allowed nine visits a month and no longer than three and a half hours.”

Despite rampant rumors, Dell’s lawyer insists that this is not a publicity stunt.

“Adam is not seeking publicity,” says Dell’s lawyer, Bill Zabel, of Manhattan’s Schulte, Roth & Zabel, told People magazine. “He’s a private person. There was no desire for publicity and Adam regrets that there is some — but [he] can’t help it given that he was forced to go to court to assert his rights as a father.”

Padma Lakshmi, who reportedly wants nothing to do with Adam Dell outside of his role as her daughter’s biological father, has not yet spoken publicly about Dell’s lawsuit.
