Jersey Shore star Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi regrets hooking up with costar Vinny Guadagnino on last season of the hit MTV show. Keep reading to see why she wishes it didn’t happen…

According to Us Magazine, “Snooki” tells SiriusXM’s “Morning Mash Up” trying to have sex with Vinny was her biggest mistake on the “Jersey Shore.”

“I kind of wish me and Vinny didn’t try and have sex because it was just drama this whole season,” she tells the show. “And I don’t know, it was just awkward between us and then I felt stupid…it’s just embarrassing.”

The 23-year-old reality star has realized friends with benefits relationships don’t work as things get complicated and says she knows Vinny feels the same, Us Magazine reports.

“I kind of got feelings [for him],” she says about Vinny. “But for him, he’d be like, ‘No, it’s another girl.’”

“Snooki’s” not letting feelings for Vinny get in the way of finding the right guy to settle down with. She’s been dating boyfriend Jionni LaValle for three months.

“Snooki’s” tells Us Magazine plans for the future include getting married to “someone who’s goal-oriented, definitely not a cheater.”

The “Jersey Shore” reality star tells the magazine she thinks 28 is a good age to tie the knot.

“I just don’t want to be an old fart when my kid’s like 18. I want to be that cool mom,” she says.

The self-proclaimed “Princess of Poughkeepsie” isn’t ready to settle down just yet. She has a “Jersey Shore” spin-off in the works.

The current season of “Jersey Shore” airs Thursdays at 10/9c on MTV.

How to make: A fashionable cake

The Stella McCartney ‘fruit print’ has become one of the most iconic patterns for the season, with high street brands such as Zara following suit. However, the look can be fairly difficult to pull off unless you’re a stick thin model, so we’ve found a way to get your fashion fix and your hunger fix for a fraction of the cost of a real Stella. Courtesy of Apollinas. Ingredients: Directions Heat oven to 350°F. Butter two 8?, 9? or 10? round cake pans, line the bottoms with greaseproof paper, butter again, and dust with flour, tapping out the excess. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt; set aside.Using an electric mix, beat the butter and sugar on medium-high until fluffy – this will take around 2 to 3 minutes.  Mix in the grated zest of the oranges and lemons.  Beat in the vanilla, then the eggs one at a time.Reduce mixer speed to low.
