Tracy Barlow is set to find out about her sister-in-law’s affair in a ‘Coronation Street’ episode this week.

The Weatherfield troublemaker discovers that former prostitute Leanne Barlow (formerly Battersby) is cheating on her step-brother Peter Barlow with her ex-husband Nick Tilsley after eavesdropping on her conversation with Carla Connor and wastes no time in causing heartache.

Jane Danson – who plays Leanne – said: “Off all the people to find out! Carla is having a row with Leanne in the Rovers’ loos all about Carla being in love with Peter, and Leanne’s affair with Nick. But unbeknown to either of them, Tracy’s behind one of the cubicle doors – and, of course, she’s loving every second as she comes out. But of them are mortified that Tracy knows their biggest secrets.”

Leanne tries to threaten Tracy (Kate Ford) but the convicted killer is having none of it and runs home to tell mum Deirdre (Anne Kirkbride) and stepfather Ken (Bill Roache) and is stunned that they already know.

Nick (Ben Price) then comes to the house and secretly begs Leanne to run away with him and has booked a one-way ticket for her to Italy so they can be together. Although Leanne throws the ticket in the bin, Peter (Chris Gascoyne) finds it and wonders what is going on.

He then confides in Tracy, who acts shocked and surprised and viewers of the iTV1 soap are left wondering whether she will tell him or not.

How to make: A fashionable cake

The Stella McCartney ‘fruit print’ has become one of the most iconic patterns for the season, with high street brands such as Zara following suit. However, the look can be fairly difficult to pull off unless you’re a stick thin model, so we’ve found a way to get your fashion fix and your hunger fix for a fraction of the cost of a real Stella. Courtesy of Apollinas. Ingredients: Directions Heat oven to 350°F. Butter two 8?, 9? or 10? round cake pans, line the bottoms with greaseproof paper, butter again, and dust with flour, tapping out the excess. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt; set aside.Using an electric mix, beat the butter and sugar on medium-high until fluffy – this will take around 2 to 3 minutes.  Mix in the grated zest of the oranges and lemons.  Beat in the vanilla, then the eggs one at a time.Reduce mixer speed to low.
