The Sun today reports that viewing figures for Vanessa Feltz’s new daytime TV show have plummeted to just 40,000 viewers.

The Vanessa Show debuted last Monday, and recorded viewing figures of 170,000, but by Friday, as mentioned above, just 40,000 viewers tuned in to the show on Five.

As part of the promotional press for the show, it was described as, “the most promising new show in daytime television” which was, at best, optimistic…

Vanessa’s fiancé Ben Ofoedu also features on the show, but it seems that viewers simply aren’t interested in either Vanessa or Ben.

One Twitter fan wrote, “Is there much point to The Vanessa (Feltz) Show? It’s flat, boring + lifeless.

“It needs some zing – another presenter perhaps?”

The Vanessa Show previously aired on the BBC during the 1990s, but it was axed after it was revealed that some of Vanessa’s guests on the show had been actors.
