Yet another “Real Housewives” castmember is in financial trouble, this time from Bravo’s Real Housewives of Orange County. Courts rejected Tamra Barney’s soon-to-be ex-husband Simon Barney’s bankruptcy bid. Keep reading to see why…

Radar Online reports court documents show Simon Barney’s bankruptcy bid was denied. According to the website, Tamra Barney’s husband filed for Chapter 13 bankruptcy last year.

According to Radar Online the United States Bankruptcy Court issued a “notice of dismissal” on Jan. 10, 2011 against Simon for not filing statements, schedules and planning for the bankruptcy.

“The case is dismissed, the automatic stay is vacated and all pending motions and adversary proceedings are moot and dismissed,” the court’s response said.

Radar Online says most of Simon’s debt stems from credit cards, with one claim from Chase Bank totaling $20,640.

Simon’s papers filed in December 2010 with the Southern District of California list his debts as “primarily consumer debts incurred by an individual primarily for a personal, family, or household purpose.”

According to Radar Online, Simon stated he has between 1-49 creditors . His assets and liabilities range between $50,001 and $100,000.

Chapter 13 bankruptcy allows individuals with regular income to pay back adjusted debts over time under court supervision and keep their property.

Financial troubles aren’t the only problems the former couple has.

Radar Online reports Simon was arrested in September over domestic violence charges Tamra filed which claim he hit threw a leash at her while the two were arguing over custody of their dog.

A source told Radar Online, “Their kids were in the house and started crying. It was a bad scene.”

According to Radar Online, Tamra now has a restraining order against Simon for her and the kids. The couple is currently in the middle of divorce proceedings.
