FOX’s Kitchen Nightmares is going to be taping at two restaurants in New Orleans this week and they are looking for diners to come try them out. If you’ve ever wanted to be a part of the show or possibly see or meet Gordon Ramsay this may be your chance! Keep reading for all the details!

Kitchen Nightmares fans in New Orleans will be thrilled to know that the show is going to be taping in your city this week at two local restaurants and they are looking for diners to come try them out! Starting today, January 19-22, the show will be filming at Zeke’s Family Restaurant, 1517 Metairie Rd. and from January 23-26, they will be shooting at Oceana Grill, 739 Conti St. According to the producer “We are looking for new customers for the restaurants so we can get honest opinions about the food. We do not want regulars to dine because they already dine and we would not be bringing new business to the restaurant. We are definitely family friendly so kids are welcome.”

Both restaurants will be taking dinner reservations and you can contact them by email NOLAREST@gmail.com or call the reservation phone line, 323-351-3684, but keep in mind e-mail is the quickest and easiest way to make a reservation. All parties will be confirmed, starting by the end of this week, so include party size, date available and phone number. There will also be some lunch spots open on the 20th at Zeke’s and the 24th at Oceana. Keep in mind however that the diner is responsible for all costs of the meal, these are not free meals!

Be sure to tune in on Friday for the season premiere of Kitchen Nightmares on Fox!

How to make: A fashionable cake

The Stella McCartney ‘fruit print’ has become one of the most iconic patterns for the season, with high street brands such as Zara following suit. However, the look can be fairly difficult to pull off unless you’re a stick thin model, so we’ve found a way to get your fashion fix and your hunger fix for a fraction of the cost of a real Stella. Courtesy of Apollinas. Ingredients: Directions Heat oven to 350°F. Butter two 8?, 9? or 10? round cake pans, line the bottoms with greaseproof paper, butter again, and dust with flour, tapping out the excess. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt; set aside.Using an electric mix, beat the butter and sugar on medium-high until fluffy – this will take around 2 to 3 minutes.  Mix in the grated zest of the oranges and lemons.  Beat in the vanilla, then the eggs one at a time.Reduce mixer speed to low.
