The new year has brought with it a lot of new and returning reality TV shows: More than 25 series debut in the first 15 days alone, and it just gets crazier from there when series such as American Idol, Survivor, and The Amazing Race return. Just send a link to this page to the next person you encounter who asks if reality TV is going away soon; it’s easier than punching them in the face.
Below is a frequently-updated list of officially announced debut dates for new and returning reality series (please feel free to send updates, additions, and corrections, which are always welcome). For shows that premiered before Jan. 1, see the fall schedule.
