Survivor’s first winner Richard Hatch is in trouble again. The former CBS reality show contestant appeared in court today to face allegations that he violated his probation terms, according to the Associated Press. Read more to find out why Hatch got in trouble…

Survivor winner Richard Hatch might have to go back to jail for two more years since the federal court in Providence, R.I. found him guilty of violating his probation terms. The court has yet to decide on a sentence, according to Forbes magazine.

The notorious Survivor contestant previously got in trouble for not paying taxes on his $1 million Survivor prize. Hatch’s tax evasion cost the previous contestant more than three years behind bars.

Now the federal probation office filed a complaint that Hatch has yet to refile his 2000 and 2001 tax returns.

Forbes reports U.S. District Judge William Smith said the violation in itself is not really in question as there is no doubt, but added Hatch has “a track record of mocking the court system and alleging unfair persecution.”

According to Entertainment Weekly, the I.R.S. claims hatch now owes $1.7 million dollars. Hatch claimed he was not required to pay as he was still in the process of appealing the issue in court.  EW reports sentencing suggestions will be submitted in three weeks.
