Lisa VanderPump of Bravo’s Real Housewives of Beverly Hills loves her designer handbags almost as much as she loves her dog, Giggy (almost); so you can imagine how upset she was when some of them were stolen while staying at the SoHo Grand hotel in New York City a few months ago. Now, the outspoken Housewife is getting tough, assembling her legal team and letting the hotel know that they’d better either “cough up the money,” replace her bags, or she’s going to sue!

Last October, while in New York City to film scenes for the Bravo reality series, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Lisa VanderPump and her husband, Ken, rented a suite at the Soho Grand hotel and later discovered that the Housewife’s handbags had been stolen.

After reporting the incident with hotel management and the hotel’s insurance department, VanderPump has since made little headway in trying to recover her designer bags that are valued at more than $8,000.

“I cannot believe this hotel has decided not to take responsibility for theft that occurred in my suite,” Lisa VanderPump told RadarOnline.com. “I can easily replace the bags myself but that’s not the point. It’s the principle,” said VanderPump. “My handbags were stolen by someone on the hotel’s staff and they should replace them.”

Now, Lisa’s fighting back, telling RadarOnline, “if the hotel does not replace my bags or cough up the money, I’m going to sue.”

As for the rumors about VanderPump’s Real Housewives co-star, Camille Grammer quitting the show, Lisa says that it’s news to her.

“I sure hope Camille hasn’t quit the show. This is the first I’ve heard of it. As far as I know, Camille has not quit the show.”

In a recent appearance on Ellen, Camille said that she has not yet made a decision regarding her return to the show.
