Hugh Hefner’s finally ready to settle down and bought the ring to prove it. He gave fiance and former E! Girls Next Door star Crystal Harris a 90 thousand dollar ring this Christmas to make it official.

The 84-year-old Playboy founder tweeted about the engagement to 24-year-old Harris Christmas Eve, stating: “This is the happiest Christmas weekend in memory.” Hefner’s favorite Christmas gift–”Crystal’s Love.”

Harris told E! News marriage had already been talked about so “nothing’s changed.” Harris helped design the over three karat ring.

Hefner spoke to Entertainment Tonight about the engagement and had this to say about what it means to him:

“Marriage is not necessarily synonymous with romance. And it’s love and romance that I care about. But I think in this relationship, I do believe — and she is committed, too — I think that the marriage will be the most romantic part of my life.”

The two have been dating for the last two years. Despite the age difference, Hefner has told media they have a lot in common.

According to E!, Former Girls Next Door castmates Bridget Marquardt and Kendra Wilkinson sent their congratulations. Harrison says Holly Madison seems okay with the engagement as well.

Hefner and Harris share more engagement details in Entertaiment Tonight’s interview. You can watch the entire video when it airs on Entertainment Tonight this evening.
