Dr. Travis Stork looked for love on season 8 of The Bachelor on ABC. He is currently the lead host of The Doctors, and has recently released a new health book! Travis released his new book, The Lean Belly Prescription last month. Read on for details…

Travis Stork thought he’d found love on ABC’s The Bachelor back in season 8, but the flame between him and Sarah Stone fizzled after the show ended.  Travis went on to host The Doctors, which has become a popular Daytime talk show featuring a panel of medical experts answering questions and giving advice.  Travis has recently authored a new book, The Lean Belly Prescription.

Stork, who graduated magna cum laude from Duke University and earned his M.D. from the University of Virginia, is an attending physician at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.  According to the publisher, Travis’s latest book is a ‘prescription’ to help people lose dangerous belly fat for good, arming readers with simple strategies that will help them lose weight fast, safely and forever -without ever feeling like they are on a diet.

The book was written in collaboration with Peter Moore, the Editor of Men’s Health Magazine, and focuses on the health consequences of carrying excess abdominal fat, which can can set people up for a host of health problems, including diabetes, heart disease, cancer, and even sexual dysfunction.

The Lean Belly Prescription features a plan called Pick Three to Lean, which allows readers to customize their own eating plan around their favorite meals and snacks, without giving up their favorites.  It entails a four-week weight loss and lifestyle plan that when combined with moderate activity, will result in a lean belly.
