Adrian Chiles has hit out at critics who branded his new show a ‘fiasco.’

The TV presenter moved from the BBC last year to present ITV breakfast TV show Daybreak, alongside his pal and former One Show co-host Christine Bleakley.

The format has performed badly in the ratings and lost half the audience that it’s predecessor GMTV regularly attracted.

Adrian told The Sun:

“It’s not fair. A piece last week about ITV football said, ‘It’s gone better than the Daybreak fiasco’. If you don’t like it, fine, but it is no longer a fiasco.”
