Attention “Gleeks”–and anyone with singing and acting talent: Casting dates for Oxygen’s new reality show, The Glee Project, has just been announced! When will they be in your city? Keep reading for the inside scoop to see how you can get a chance to sing with Mr. Schuester and the rest of the gang!

Oxygen’s The Glee Project is looking for talented individuals to compete in the new reality show for a chance to win a multi-episode guest-starring role in Season 3 of Fox’s hit Glee.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old and able to (convincingly) play a teenager on the show. Singing, dancing, and acting ability is helpful, but producers are willing to work with those who have “raw talent.” For the full list of eligibility requirements you can click here.

Oh, and if you happen to be one of the 34,000 people that submitted an application through the MySpace Glee auditions– the applications have been processed! Those who were shortlisted can expect to be contacted no later than Friday, November 19th.

If you sent an application through the MySpace audition and do not receive notice that you’ve made it on the shortlist, don’t worry–you can still try out at any of the open calls.

Open call auditions will be held:

December 18-Chicago

December 19-Chicago

January 8-Dallas

January 9-Dallas

Stay tuned for details on the exact location of each audition.

Those planning on auditioning should come prepared to sing a song from the official song list, which includes ‘No Air’ by Jordin Sparks, Joan Osbourne’s ‘One of Us,’ ‘Every Rose Has Its Thorn’ by Poison, and ‘Don’t Rain On My Parade’ by Barbara Streisand.
