Chris Daughtry of FOX’s American Idol just introduced the two newest members of his fan club to everyone–his newborn twins! Daughtry posted pictures of babies Adalynn and Noah on his Twitter page on Monday, telling all of his followers, “I’m SO in love!” Keep reading for all the details on Chris’ adorable twins!

Thirty year old American Idol alum, Chris Daughtry, and his wife, Deanna, welcomed their fraternal twins into the world just a week before Thanksgiving. The couple’s daughter, Adalynn Rose, was born at 11:06 a.m., weighing 6 lbs. 5 oz., and their son, Noah James, followed at 11:25 a.m., weighing 5 lbs., 5 oz.

When the babies were born on November 17th, Chris immediately tweeted, “They’re here!!!” The official birth announcement was later made on the band’s website:

“Our family is overwhelmed with joy by these two precious gifts from God,” said Daughtry. “The babies are both healthy and resting. Thanks to everyone for their love and prayers.”

Chris and Deanna announced that they were expecting twins–they’re “double blessing”–on Daughtry’s website back in May. The babies were conceived using IVF, and the embryos were then transferred to a gestational surrogate, who carried the twins to term. Deanna was unable to carry the babies herself due to a partial hysterectomy that she had four years ago.

The twins make four children for Chris and Deanna Daughtry, who are also parents to another girl and boy, Hannah and Griffin.

Congratulations to Chris and the entire Daughtry family!

How to make: A fashionable cake

The Stella McCartney ‘fruit print’ has become one of the most iconic patterns for the season, with high street brands such as Zara following suit. However, the look can be fairly difficult to pull off unless you’re a stick thin model, so we’ve found a way to get your fashion fix and your hunger fix for a fraction of the cost of a real Stella. Courtesy of Apollinas. Ingredients: Directions Heat oven to 350°F. Butter two 8?, 9? or 10? round cake pans, line the bottoms with greaseproof paper, butter again, and dust with flour, tapping out the excess. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt; set aside.Using an electric mix, beat the butter and sugar on medium-high until fluffy – this will take around 2 to 3 minutes.  Mix in the grated zest of the oranges and lemons.  Beat in the vanilla, then the eggs one at a time.Reduce mixer speed to low.
