Coronation Street: Tracy Barlow will kidnap daughter Amy!

Coronation Street’s Tracy Barlow will return to Weatherfield this Christmas Eve and kidnap her young daughter Amy.

The Weatherfield bad girl was imprisoned for life for the murder of her ex-boyfriend Charlie Stubbs in 2007 but is set for a retrial and early release from prison this festive season.

As part of the sensational storyline, viewers will see a jealous Tracy (Kate Ford) trying to destroy her ex Steve’s marriage to Becky, by stealing her daughter.

Later in the week, distraught Becky (Katherine Kelly) is also faced with her scheming half-sister Kylie Turner (Paula Lane) demanding £10,000 in exchange allowing Becky to bring up her son Max as her own.

The bolshy barmaid has already given Kylie £20,000 if she promised to leave Weatherfield for good, and in a desperate bid to keep her family together, ex-criminal Becky breaks into Dev Alahan (Jimmi Harkishin)’s cornershop to steal money from the safe.

An insider told The Sun newspaper: “Becky is desperate for her family and will do anything to stop it being ripped apart – although she risks ending back in jail when she goes to such extreme lengths.”
