This week on The Amazing Race, the racers make their way to the Middle East.  The preview reveals an exciting episode, as one team has a run-in with the police, one team sleeps through the challenge and another team gets engaged!

As the racers make their way to the Middle East, the preview reveals that the racers can expect an exotic adventure that includes mountain climbing.  Brook and Claire reveal that they had a run-in with the police.  The preview does not show why they get into trouble, but perhaps it has something to do with their kiss count they have going?

The preview also shows a closed hotel room door with someone inside snoring away.  There is a voice-over saying, “Has anybody seen them yet today?”  Is it possible that a racing team sleeps through the entire challenge?

Finally, in very romantic news, the preview shows dating team Chad and Stephanie sharing a very special moment.  Chad gets down on one knee and asks Stephanie to spend the rest of his life with him!  Maybe Stephanie knows something we do not, as Chad has been portrayed as very temperamental and cranky in previous episodes.  While in Sweden, Stephanie got very scared in one of the challenges and broke down in tears.  Instead of consoling his girlfriend, Chad berated her.  There have been a few other incidents in which Chad has gotten frustrated due to the challenges of The Amazing Race.  It is not clear if the proposal was planned or spontaneous.  At least Chad is taking advantage of the beautiful locations that the racers visit on The Amazing Race.
